What we collect
When you submit a request through this website, we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, and — if you provide them — your email address, city, the service you need, and any details you add about the problem.
When you call or text us, we keep a record of your contact details and the work discussed so we can schedule, quote, and service your job.
If you complete work with us, we retain a service record — the address, work performed, parts installed, and invoice — because warranty claims and future service depend on it.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, schedule and perform plumbing work, invoice you, honour warranty claims, and keep records required for business and tax purposes. We do not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.
How your form submission is delivered
Website form submissions are delivered to our business email by a third-party form-delivery service. That service transmits your message to us and does not use it for its own marketing. If delivery fails, the form falls back to opening a pre-filled email in your own mail application, which sends directly to us.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except where necessary to complete your job (for example, a supplier ordering a specific part) or where required by law. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.
Financing applications
If you apply for financing, you leave this website and apply directly with iFinance Canada. Any information you enter there is collected and governed by iFinance Canada, not by Drains Now Inc. We receive only the approval outcome needed to schedule your work.
Cookies and analytics
This website may use standard analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they arrive. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. It sets cookies in your browser, which you can block or delete in your browser settings without losing access to any part of this site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to two years. Completed service records are kept for a minimum of seven years, consistent with warranty obligations and Canadian record-keeping requirements.
Your rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to its use — subject to any legal or warranty obligations that require us to keep a service record. Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Our business email and service records are protected by access controls and passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold.
